Phil Carroll
Phil is an experienced flautist of 25 years professional playing.
He has played in Orchestra’s, concert bands, big bands and various ensembles including 2 years with Arte Kanela, one of Australia’s top flamenco outfits.
He is Grade 6 AMEB trained.
His method is to enthuse students with music and develop aural, technical and improvising skills
He gives lessons to children with or without exams. Exams follow the ANZCA or AMEB method. His aim is to allow students to revel in the joy of making music first. Parents are welcome to sit in on lessons.
He teaches adults of all ages , from beginners to advanced and can teach advanced jazz improvising skills.
He also teaches keyboard skills for flautists which can aid their performance greatly.
He is an experienced pianist and can accompany students in all exams.
Fees
½ hour – $35, ¾ hour – $50, 1 hour – $65.
